- Designs and implements non-trivial features and services, including data modeling, APIs, integrations, and error handling.
- Applies advanced design patterns and architectural principles in code, improving system robustness and clarity.
- Actively participates in refactoring initiatives to reduce technical debt and improve maintainability.
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex production issues, including performance and stability problems.
- Develops, deploys, and operates services on AWS, following existing platform standards and tooling.
- Takes ownership of the runtime behavior of services, including monitoring, logging, and incident resolution.
- Optimizes applications for performance and reliability within the given architecture.
- Ensures services meet security, compliance, and operational requirements.
- Works independently on complex tasks and features with minimal guidance, owning solutions from implementation through production.
- Proactively identifies risks, edge cases, and improvement opportunities within assigned system areas.
