We are looking for an Application Support Engineer - Salesforce for our Business partner who is a global financial services firm providing fund administration, investment support, and technology-driven solutions to institutional clients.

Tasks:
  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions across applications
  • Support onboarding, audits, and security settings
  • Provide day-to-day user support, guidance, and basic training
  • Assist during key business periods (e.g., month-end, campaigns)
  • Support application maintenance, upgrades, and releases
  • Perform testing and coordinate UAT with business teams
  • Stay aware of system updates and communicate impacts
  • Maintain documentation, knowledge base, and support procedures
  • Track issues, fixes, and improvements
  • Support data quality, reporting, and system integrations
  • Monitor data flows and troubleshoot issues between systems
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements
  • Contribute to process optimization and automation initiatives
  • Support governance, compliance, and security processes
  • Follow change management and audit requirements
  • Act as a bridge between business users, IT teams, and vendors
  • Track incidents, manage tickets, and communicate updates clearly
  • Strong application support / operations experience
  • User-focused mindset with good problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of access management, data flows, and integrations
  • Ability to handle incidents, prioritize, and stay organized
  • Clear communication with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Familiarity with SaaS environments and basic IT governance
Requirements:
  • Must have
  • Salesforce Administration Certification (ADM-201)
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM-211)
  • Hands-on experience supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, security, and data management
  • Experience with SaaS enterprise applications and integrations (APIs, data flows)
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and ITIL-aligned support processes
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to translate technical issues to business users
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Good to have
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II
  • Jira Cloud Administrator
  • Jira Cloud Essentials
  • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
