We are looking for an Application Support Engineer for our Business Partner who is a global financial services firm providing fund administration, investment support, and technology-driven solutions to institutional clients.

Tasks:
  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions within Workday
  • Support onboarding, audits, and security settings
  • Provide day-to-day user support, guidance, and training
  • Assist during key business periods (e.g., month-end, HR cycles)
  • Support system maintenance, upgrades, and releases
  • Perform testing and coordinate UAT with business teams
  • Monitor product updates and communicate impacts
  • Maintain documentation, knowledge base, and support processes
  • Track issues, fixes, and improvements
  • Support data quality, reporting, and integrations
  • Monitor data flows and troubleshoot issues across systems
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements or automation
  • Contribute to system and process optimization
  • Support governance, compliance, and security standards
  • Follow change management and audit requirements
  • Act as a key contact between business users, IT teams, and vendors
  • Manage tickets, track SLAs, and communicate updates clearly
  • Hands-on experience with Workday (HCM Core)
  • Strong understanding of Workday configuration, security, and data
  • Experience with SaaS systems and integrations (APIs, data flows)
  • Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and ITIL processes
  • Strong problem-solving and support mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and handle business-facing responsibilities
Requirements:
  • Must have
  • Workday HCM Core
  • Hands-on experience supporting Workday environments
  • Strong understanding of Workday configuration, security, and data management
  • Experience with SaaS enterprise applications and integrations (APIs, data flows)
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) and ITIL-aligned support processes
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to translate technical issues to business users
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Good to have
  • Other Workday certifications (e.g. Workday Payroll, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Workday Integration)
  • Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
