About Acasus:
“Impact for citizens.”
Acasus helps governments help people.
We are a consultancy delivering transformational reforms in health and education. We have built a reputation in dynamic, and often challenging, countries and contexts.
Acasus undertakes high-profile projects in an expanding group of countries, including: Pakistan, Chad, the DRC, Mozambique, Somalia, Afghanistan, Ethiopia and Nigeria. From increasing vaccine delivery, to providing greater education access for children, our consultants are helping millions of people access better services.

How will you make an impact?
You will use the latest data management technologies to improve health and education services for citizens in a number of low- and middle-income countries, including the DRC, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Mozambique, Somalia, Chad, and others.
Tasks and responsibilities:
● Maintain and create Tableau dashboards
● Create views in database and updated table structure, apply backend table structure changes in the view layer
● Support database cleanup and impact analysis
● Collaborate with other functional areas, such as Engineering
We are looking for:
● Experience with a BI tool (preferably Tableau, PowerBI experience is also sufficient)
● SQL skills to query database and understand existing scripts
● Foundational statistical knowledge (understanding of mean/median/std dev, basic probabilities, and data distributions)
● Experience with building and maintaining ETL flows is a plus
● Experience with unstructured data (e.g JSON files) is a plus
● Experience with Python or other programming languages is a plus
● Fluent in written and spoken English
●At least 20 hours per week, but ideally between 30 and 40 hours per week
● Remote work, with approximately one visit to the office per week (1st District, Hegyalja út 7-13); we will provide the equipment (laptop) needed for work and remote access
● Duration: approximately 3 months
● We are seeking candidates with a background in any field related to statistics (economics, sociology with a focus on statistics, business administration, mathematics, computer science—from either a university or a college)
● Knowledge of MS Office/Google Workspace is required, particularly hands-on experience with Excel/spreadsheets, as well as basic statistical knowledge; in addition, experience with any BI tools or SQL would be a plus
● Good communication skills
● And, preferably, prior work experience at another company, even if only for a few months
