We are looking for an Intermediate Cloud Security Engineer to support the implementation of security standards and solutions across cloud environments. You will work with senior security stakeholders and contribute to securing cloud applications and infrastructure, primarily in an AWS environment.

Tasks
- Support the implementation of security standards and controls for cloud solutions
- Implement secure access solutions, including:
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Identity Federation / SSO
- SIEM and audit logging (CloudTrail, Config)
- Security Groups, ACLs, WAF and Shield DDoS protection
- Certificate, key and secret management
- Support the design and implementation of secure, scalable, fault-tolerant and cost-efficient cloud solutions
- Contribute to cloud architecture from both application and infrastructure perspectives
- Perform security testing and scanning of cloud products and applications
- Support compliance with security standards and requirements
- Develop and implement basic cloud security patterns based on customer requirements
- Document cloud environments, security procedures and solutions
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborate with senior security and technical stakeholders
- Basic knowledge of cloud computing technologies
- Basic understanding of AWS architecture, security best practices and the AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Understanding of cloud migration standards and best practices
- Basic knowledge of security and compliance standards
- Understanding of encryption in transit and at rest
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure automation and continuous delivery technologies
- Programming experience in at least one language (e.g. C++, Java, Python, Ruby)
- Good technical writing and documentation skills
- Ability to think outside the box
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
